Account Strategist

Description

We’re looking for a strategic, client-focused Account Strategist to lead and grow our top-tier home services accounts. This senior-level role is ideal for a marketing leader who understands contractor business models, thrives on strategy, and knows how to turn marketing plans into measurable growth.

You’ll serve as the primary strategic advisor for your assigned accounts, owning the marketing plan, campaign calendar, and client relationship, while guiding cross-channel specialists to execute at the highest level.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts
  • Own the client meeting rhythm and deliver consistent, high-value strategy discussions
  • Lead internal account teams to ensure alignment, execution, and results
  • Translate client business goals into actionable marketing strategies
  • Instill confidence through consultative guidance and industry expertise

Marketing & Campaign Strategy

  • Develop and manage annual marketing plans and 12-month campaign calendars
  • Align business goals, budgets, and lead targets across all marketing channels
  • Lead ongoing strategy reviews and ongoing performance optimization
  • Analyze results and proactively adjust strategies to achieve growth targets
  • Ensure integrated, brand-aligned campaigns across digital and traditional channels

Business Growth & Consultative Sales

  • Identify upsell opportunities and advise clients on product adoption
  • Connect financial performance to marketing strategy and ROI
  • Surface business risks and growth opportunities
  • Support client onboarding with a brand-first, business-driven approach

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a marketing field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in account management, or proven proficiency in the Marketing Coordinator role
  • Ability to connect financials, lead planning, and marketing performance
  • Expertise across digital and traditional marketing channels and campaign planning
  • Expert knowledge of marketing strategies, services, and how they support the a customer journey and sales funnel
  • Google Analytics certification (preferred)
  • Google Adwords certification (preferred)
  • Experience using CRM software, preferably Hubspot
  • Experience with workflow management software, preferably ClickUp
  • Experience with Traditional Marketing Channels, digital/web-based marketing
  • Experience with account development, sales, or consultative selling a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- able to adapt to other’s communication/personality styles
  • Adept at presenting in writing, in person, via phone and via webcam
  • Skilled in coordinating and managing timelines and deliverables across teams
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to continuous change and growth
  • Self starter, strong personal accountability & time management in a remote work setting
  • Knowledge of Home Services industry is a plus
