Email Marketing Manager
Description
We're seeking an experienced and growth-strategy-minded Email Marketing (EMM) Manager with an understanding of opt-in email marketing, funnel strategies, email team project management and processes, and best practices, to innovate our email marketing product in order to better drive value for our clients in the Home Services industry.
We seek a candidate interested in building a multi-touch email marketing service that incorporates CRM integration, segmentation, automation and templatization, making our clients the go-to vendors when their services are needed. Our ideal manager will transform our current product into a scalable operation that creates email funnels to generate and nurture leads, and engage and retain existing audiences.
The EMM Manager is dedicated to creating, managing and reporting on multi-touch marketing channels and tactics in coordination. The EMM Manager is responsible for campaigns within Active Campaign or, potentially, another ESP, as well as coordinating with other channels to build email lists for opt-in campaigns. As a manager on the Digital Products Team, the EMM Manager contributes to digital product planning, goals and innovation, including team member development and support in advancing their skills and career path.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop the EMM team of Specialists, assisting with analysis, strategy, onboarding, maintenance and escalation for 15-25 clients each
Strategize multi-touch email marketing campaigns that meet or exceed designated KPIs, particularly nurture and retention campaigns
Deliver projection-and-budget-based lead acquisition, brand awareness and traffic funnels for inbound marketing and advertising efforts
Utilize advanced features within Active Campaign to improve campaign performance: Tags, Retargeting, Segmentation, Custom Content and Instapage Landing Pages
Expand iMarket’s command of email marketing channels through research, data-based selection, testing and cross-channel coordination
Develop team members’ skills and support their career path
Develop and maintain a complete knowledge of analytic and attribution for building campaigns, audiences, conversion tracking, and other tools used to deliver results
Optimize team workflow through project management tools and analysis, pursuing gross profit goals for the product team
Collaborate with designers and videographers to produce ad creatives
Run A/B split tests to optimize campaign performance and gain valuable insights about our customers’ through a data-driven approach
Monitor and optimize campaign performance by clearly reporting results, trends, problems, and opportunities – with focus on ROI
Work with the marketing team to develop conversion assets (emails, content and landing pages) to align with paid acquisition and marketing funnel strategy
Prepare reports and present results to clients and internal stakeholders
Cultivate fresh ideas and discover new opportunities based on data analysis, trends in the digital marketing space, and new brands/products being launched

Desired Qualifications and Experience
5+ years of in-platform execution experience setting up campaigns on Email Marketing platforms, preferably ActiveCampaign, with full fluency in using opt-in lists
4+ years of experience managing a team of EMM specialists or coordinators, with a proven track record of working with other departments to leverage data and supporting channels
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Marketing preferred, but will accept all
Advanced understanding and experience creating landing page content for emails
Experience with multi-touch email campaigns based around automations
Experience with CRM and offline data integration to optimize email campaigns
